Our Shibuya watch design was inspired by the Shibuya Crossing in Japan, the worlds busiest pedestrian crossing. Our Shibuya Scramble watch is made from aerospace Grade 5 titanium which is extremely strong, lightweight and corrosion resistant. It also has the benefit of being hypo-allergenic so those with sensitive skin can wear this watch without any concern. We use the Premium Miyota 9039 Movement which has been proven to be extremely reliable and low maintenance.

Grade 5 titanium’s superior mechanical properties—especially its higher strength, improved fatigue resistance, and better temperature tolerance—make it a more versatile material in demanding applications. Grade 2 titanium, while still excellent in terms of corrosion resistance and workability, is generally not as strong or durable as Grade 5, limiting its use in high-performance applications.

This Makoto Shibuya titanium field watch is fun and is light and great for the summertime with its vibrant dial. The scramble crosswalk in white also looks like a baseball diamond so you can have a double themed watch dial for the liking. The scramble crosswalk reminds me of the Fast and Furious movie scene and with over 500k people who walk across this everyday this is truly a unique design with a Grade 5 titanium case and I got mine with a titanium bracelet as well but prefer it with either an orange or blue sail cloth strap.
